Toy Story Land’s Grand Opening At Hollywood Studios Is Upon Us!
Woody, Buzz, Jessie and the gang are coming to Disney! Everyone’s favorite cowboy and all of his pals have their very own land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and you can experience the fun starting this summer!
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to view the world from a toy’s perspective? That is the whole idea behind the Toy Story Land at Disney; everything is huge and you feel like you’re the size of a tiny toy car! Zip around Andy’s backyard on the Slinky Dog Dash rollercoaster and enjoy old fashioned root beer floats in the land’s adorable restaurant, Woody’s Lunchbox. This colorful and playful and will transport kids of all ages back to a time of classic toys and limitless imagination.
The Rides
Toy Story Land will be packed with rides that the whole family will love. The Alien Swirling Saucers ride is sort of like the Toy Story version of bumper cars, a high-tech alien themed ride similar to the one Andy built using the playset he won at Pizza Planet. Notice “The Claw” hanging over head. Will it choose you?
Our favorite stretchy, slinky, friendly dog has his own coaster! The Slinky Dog Dash takes riders up and down, around and around on a high-speed coaster, zipping by classic toys along the way.
Toy Story Mania has been one of Hollywood Studios’ most popular attractions since its debut in 2008. But now, the addition of a third track allows more guest to experience the fun of the virtual arcade at once! And they’ve given the entire queuing section a makeover, so even waiting in line is fun!
Other Attractions
Woody’s Lunchbox will be a causal and tasty place to get lunch, snacks and even breakfast. This giant replica of Andy’s adored lunchbox will have a walk up window and outdoor seating, and a menu full of Toy Story themed surprises
Character Interactions
What’s a visit to Andy’s backyard without a chance to meet all of your favorite characters? Guests will have the chance to hug, high-five and get autographs from their favorite cowboy friends (Woody and Jessie) and everyone’s favorite intergalactic space ranger, Buzz
